Permapave Permeable Pavers are an effective filter,
removing 100% of gross pollutants from stormwater as
it passes through the substrate.
Permapave Permeable Pavers provide the hard surface
required for urban living, yet allow storm water to
pass freely through the substrate to return to the water
source, much as it did before urbanisation.
 Permapave
Permeable pavers are trafficable, and comply with Australian
Standard AUS4455. 300mm x 300mm flag pavers can be manufactured
with a transverse breaking strength exceeding 6Kn.
Clogging is no problem. Pavers are easily cleaned whenever
necessary, using the Permapave cleaning machine or mechanical
vacuum. Depending on the area of catchment and the local
contaminant profile, pavers may need cleaning each 2
years.

Permeable Pavers are safe and non-slip for pedestrians,
bicycles, and motor cars. Even for high heel shoes.
Australian Standard test AS4586, Rubber type 4S (automobiles)
classifies the surface as "W" and AS 4586,
Rubber Type TRL (pedestrians), classifies the surface
as "V". Both results indicate a very high
non-slip level.
